Sparkly New Products and 2020 Trends

It may only be the beginning of October, but we are in full swing! Would you believe us if we said we have been installing Christmas lights since July? The nice thing is that Christmas lights do not have to be turned on straight away, so they can hide in inconspicuous places like trees until they are ready to be turned on after Remembrance Day. Our team can do both commercial AND residential work in the Lower Mainland and on Southern Vancouver Island. We still have space this season, so get in touch with us to secure your spot!

We have lots of beautiful new products this year, in order to provide you with the highest quality while keeping up with the trends! Whether you’re looking for something classic or modern, we’ve got what you are looking for when it comes to installing Christmas lights. Here are a few trends that we absolutely love, that we are looking forward to installing this year:

Make your property look like Rockefeller Square

The famous Christmas tree in Rockefeller Square is one of the most stunningly decorated trees on earth. In order to be able to provide you with the same kind of display, we developed “Rockefeller” 5mm mini-lights that create the same pattern and effect as the Rockefeller tree. The strings are made up of red, green, blue, orange, yellow, and purple, with every 7th bulb gently flashing pure white. This gives a subtle sparkle effect that is simply magical. If you have an evergreen on your property, we can absolutely make it look like this!

Warm white and pure white together for the first time!

We have always stayed away from mixing warm white and pure white, as the combination can look tacky if done in the wrong way. In Europe, a trend of using warm white lights with twinkling pure white lights interspersed among them is spreading rapidly. We have brought this style to Canada, and are now carrying mini-lights dubbed “The European” to create this effect. They are mostly warm white, with every few bulbs twinkling pure white. They are perfect for installing in trees and shrubs, if your property is calling for some sparkle!

New flood light for trees

We have carried flood lights for almost a decade, with several new and improved options being offered over the last few years. This year, we are carrying a smaller flood light that is perfect for installing in the branches of trees, to create a multi-dimensional glow. They are RGB, which means they can change colours, and come with a remote that makes it easy to alternate between colours and different patterns. You can even change the speed at which the colours are fading in and out! These lights are perfect for trees that lose their leaves in the winter, but they can also be used to light evergreen trees that are not overly thick.
